The Atlanta Project coordinator's records, 1991-1996.

The collection consists of various types of records collected and maintained by The Atlanta Project (TAP) coordinator's office from Emory University and covering the years 1991 to 1994. General records include general correspondence, samples of volunteer forms, mailing lists, and memoranda. Also included are the initial strategic plan for TAP materials from meetings attended by Emory representatives, and recommendations for Phase II of TAP. Collected printed materials contain copies of various TAP publications, information packets from Junior Achievement and United Way, and handbooks, newsletters, brochures, etc. from other volunteer service organizations in the Atlanta area. The manuals included in the collection were produced by and for various TAP groups and served as training and resource guides during the life of the project. Special projects files give evidence of several specific efforts which involved Emory volunteers. These include the immunization drive, Literacy Walk, TAP in Peace, and the volunteer probation officer program.
